Nice color choices again--different and I think it totally works. I'm really enjoying the color/ texture/ shape transitions between each layer (ground, trees, mountain/ sky)--it really makes for a neat contrast. If I were to just focus on the shape patterns, it moves up from polka dots, to stripes, to solids, but it isn't too sudden of a switch.
Oh this sure is fabulous! Really great colours... and great technique, too! The oil palette knife painting reminds me of my grandmother's paintings, of which I have ended up with most, (and put up as many as I've room for) because this was her favourite medium, and she was very talented with it, as are you!
Oh, it's wonderful to read that you have your grandmother's paintings. My grandchildren, although young, already have some art that they have requested me to paint but I have others to give them which they will appreciate (I hope) when they are older.
